St Elizabeth`s strives to nurture Physical and Mental Wellbeing in as many different ways as possible from Lunch Time Fitness Clubs ,to Music Groups and Messy Cooking Times.Today we celebrated Children Mental Health Week Campaign, Place 2Be Campaign, watching and discussing a video featuring Price William and Princess Kate.St Elizabeth`s Primary and Nursery is a very empathetic,caring and nurturing Place2Be as you can see below.
Digital Technology and P6 9/2/17
Today the Lunch Hall was turned into a “Techy Palace” as 30 Primary 6 pupils solved their way around moving technology and computer programming, courtesy of Digi Scotland .Callum and Beth brought all the technology including a “Formula One Track” for racing robotic vehicles and have booked a return date for end of February.Have a look at the pictures and see our “experts” in action…successful YES…..confident…certainly …..responsible…all engaged and…… effective… our children have definitely began to skill themselves up for the future.
Sacramental Classes Working Together 8/2/17
Primary Three, Reconciliation Class, and Primary 7 ,Confirmation Class, combined skills and knowledge of each other`s sacraments and class topics to produce these detailed and meaningful “Duel Shields”. Working in pairs, the children designed a half shield each and then put both together to create a new “Royal House”.Ideas included lovehearts for kindness and joined hands for friendship. Well done Teams.
Both classes also partnered up to plan,design then create symbolic crosses which are displayed outside our Lunch Hall. Here`s to many more joint ventures P7 and P3.
