Rabbie Burns Champions 1/3/17

Well,well done to St Elizabeth`s  who once again stole the Hamilton Burns Show . In the P4-P5 Category  Eilidh McLaughlin P5 was Ist with Islah McWatt  P5 in 2nd Place. In the P6-P7 Category  Evie Cornfield P5/6 was 1st .Many ,many congratulations to Anthony McFarlane P7 who was just pipped to  2nd Place.All winners received Book Tokens and a place in Lanarkshire Finals on 28th March at St Aidan`s Wishaw. We are so proud of  all four children for all their hard work and to their families and local volunteer Christine Owens….keep up the good work.

Taylor Wimpey Offer Assistance 1/3/17

Our P5/6 boys decided that the Den Gear needed replacing so whilst Stuart and Charlie came down from the local Taylor Wimpey  Site to help the school out with fencing repairs,Ciaran,Jude,Cody and Lucas demonstrated the need for new wooden palettes and planks. A delivery will be made soon so on behalf of the school …well done boys.

Fairtrade Fortnight Begins 27/2/17

Primary 5/6 wrote to local shops for Fairtrade Treats .Here are the children surrounded by Co-op Fairtrade  donations waiting for fellow pupils to bring along any Fairtrade wrappers, For every wrapper,  you get a Fairtrade Treat to eat. Hurry and get collecting everyone  before there are no treats left.
