Today the Eco Warriors measured out Pancake ingredients and mixed and flipped before sitting around the table to enjoy their creations. The children chopped dates and figs then spread then on top as a healthy sugary addition .Pictured are the Warriors at work and thanks to Myla`s mum for guarding bovver the pan !!

Have a look at all these colourful and creative Book Characters who came out to celebrate World Book Day .Throughout this Book Week we `ve had a visiting author, visiting Book Fair,Booky Competitions, Staff Storytelling and Hamilton Storytellers.WHS even set up an in-store Book Cover Display then presented the class winners with free books, stationery and £100 Book Tokens for the school to spend as part of our  Love of Literacy Challenge. Thanks everyone for all your time and effort.

Tomorrow (Friday) is a non uniform day and crazy hair day. All donations for our Lenten charity SCIAF welcome.

Today a large group of Fairtrade Fivers and Friends were invited to Rutherglen High School to perform Fairtrade and Spread the Fairtrade Word.The High School sent their mini-bus to collect our excited pupils and soon St Elizabeth`s children  were performing to the whole school. Rutherglen is an ASN  Secondary School where  all youngsters are learning about Fairtrade during this National Fairtrade Fortnight.
