This week we all  joined in “Science is Magic” workshops  with Sinclair Dyer ,the South Lanarkshire Council Science Development Officer. We  cleaned up pennies, bent water and perfectly shelled  unboiled  eggs …plus much more. Ask your child  their about “Magical Science” and  you`ll be amazed. Thanks Sinclair and to the Innes boys who went home and tried a few of the “tricks ” .

On Friday children are invited to wear sports clothes to school. During the day we will all take part in the daily walk/mile.

Any donations received will go to SCIAF, our Lenten charity.

Like every year James ,our Book Fair Supplier, popped into P3 to help them prepare for their Reconciliation. James is also a beef and sheep farmer too. Primary Three children were amazed to see bottle teets,orange spray paint and medicine dispensers in a shepherd`s kitbag and to learn that during calving and lambing season James gets about 2 hours of sleep a night. Just like Jesus, our Good Shepherd does, James cares for his sheep in a loving way too.

Congratulations Leah, Carly who were runners up to Saarah for their Hippo Designs. The winning hippo has  various skins and features from the many endangered species on our planet including a black/white stripy zebra skin and  a rhino horn . All girls received   Art Prizes and were invited to work next week with an artist as they go from design to sculpture. Good Luck Artists .
