P5/6 Clyde In The Classroom Field Trip 30/5/17

And what a morning they had in Covan Burn pond-dipping,leaf spotting and map sketching. This visit was to celebrate the end of their Brown Trout Experience where the children reared fish, visited the Science Centre and took part in workshops both there and back at school. Imagine how amazed everyone was to catch a long  slithery ,very blue-eyed eel  around 40cm long with an approximate age of years,2 small salmon and a red stickle-backed male.Once again with loads of thanks to the Clyde in The Classroom Team of Scientists and to P5/6 for helping to raise the profile of salmon in our local River Avon.
