A few weeks ago a Creative Theatre visited the school with a production called Brain Busters giving the children ways to build up mental health.Talking,Zapping and Happy Thoughts are some ways to get over an unhappy time.

Last week we continued this Theme and during our Pupil Voice Assembly everyone got the chance to discuss  the definition of bullying,how it is manifested and ways to get rid of it. We all thought that the word bullying has to be used cautiously and that it is so important to have friends around.

All families got the chance to air their views too .A summary will be will you as soon as.

Helen McPherson (Classroom Assistant) is leaving us after 17yrs to take up a full time post at The Beatson in Glasgow. Helen has been a great support to us all here in St Elizabeth`s and we wish her tons of love and success,

Suzanne (2-3 Room) left us on Wednesday as well but she will be back…. with a different surname.Suzanne is getting married then jetting off somewhere nice and warm to celebrate.Tons of love and congratulations.

And what a week we had .We had classes visiting the Rural Museum and Bartletts Potato Factory.We had children making pesto and butter.We had classes on a tractor and listening about life on an allotment. Love Food Hate Waste told the whole school about the need to watch our food waste and finally nice hot cups of porridge then sliced fruits with frozen yoghurt to close .Many,many thanks to all those who supported us in this Fantastic Food Festival...RHET,Bartletts,James(Farmer) , Bob(Gardener)Eleanor(Love Food) and Alison from SLC Services.St Elizabeth`s children learned so much about the Scottish Food Industry  and hopefully developed an insight into the many peoplwe who work hard to keep us healthy and happy.

Tomorrow (Friday) will be a non uniform day for the children.
