Whole School Macmillan Coffee Morning 29/9/17
Thanks to everyone,children,families ,friend and staff who helped make our Annual Macmillan Coffee Morning its usual success.The Hall was packed as our Nursery Children and School Children filed in to sing and dance.One class even sang a Gaelic Song about Porridge followed by some girls dancing an impromptu Highland Fling.Tons was raised for this very needed cause and please check Newsletter for final amount .Once again…..many “thank yous” for all your support.
Careers with Energy Networks
Colin Wylie from Energy Networks helped the Senior classes understand the National Power Grid and possible careers involved.The children built pylons and understood the importance of connectivity and renewable energies.

Today John from Scotrail Public Relations visited with Pam and Fiona to tell our P6 and P7 children about the marvels of the railway alongside its many dangers.Using drama and discussion the Scotrail employees got their message across…Keep Safe Around Railways.

With our Textile Outcomes in mind and an eye on Careers ,Murdo Morrison,a former Harris Tweed Employee visited Level 2 today 27th September .Murdo explained all about this fascinating industry and proudly showed off his Isle of Harris Slides.He left us samples and encouraged the Senior Classesto make more of Textile s and the Textile Industry.With many thanks to Murdo.
