What`s Been Happening…wk ending 7/9/18 ??

As usual loads to sustain and grow our much appreciated Community Involvement Activities.

First came Mr McIntosh from Coatdyke Flooring (and more importantly Lara`s dad) with a van full of pallets for our Den Building Ventures…….with loads of thanks from these smiling P6 Girls.

Next came Bikeability Employees Lisa (Rhoan`s mum) and Margaret pictured with more smiling P7 who had just enjoyed an afternoon of Bike Proficiency using the bikes and helmets supplied. Each Wednesday afternoon over 6 weeks , the P6/7   and P7 pupils will enjoy an hour`s training supported by the experts above………and thank you once again.

And what a start we made ..26 Eco Pupil  Warriors  and  2 Parent Eco Warriors to help with the organisation.With tons of Eco Thanks to all who came along to bake and taste Bramble and Apple Crumble,Pitta Pizzas and old-fashioned rhubarb dipped in sugar !! Not forgetting our neighbour Mae who let us into her garden to gather Autumn Berries ,Apples and Rhubarb.

August Achievements

Each week at Whole School Assembly, a child randomly selects a Registration Number . This numbered pupil from every class has one week to decide upon an Achievement to tell the whole school .Well this week we had Achievements ranging from medals to forfeiting bike stabilisers !! Pictured are our Proud Achievers before displaying their Reports written with home support.Well done and wonder what the stories will be next week !!

Friendship P5/6 Stew 30/9/18

P5/6 enjoyed including everyone in their Game of Friendship Bingo then in the creation of a Friendship Stew where they included all kinds of foods to represent Good Friend Qualities.Jellies for sensitive people,chocolate for kind,sharing people but not the bruised and moldy banana …….nobody wanted this in their  Class Stew !!

Important Information

All pupils should have received an envelope on Friday with lots of information and several forms to return to school. Please return the forms to your child’s class teacher as soon as possible. Thanks in advance!
