Primary 7 children took part in a Retreat Day of reflection,prayer,spiritual activity and celebration as they prepared for their forthcoming Sacrament of Confirmation. The Retreat began with a visit in the Church Hall from a Marie Curie Nurse and Fund-Raiser who explained about her  invaluable work,   to be the focus of P7 fund-raising once they are confirmed. Pentecost was experienced using silhouette role-play and chosen Saints were discussed as being witness of the Holy Spirit. Miss McPhee led a Meditation before lunch and Father O`Farrell concluded the Retreat with a Mass in the Church where  pupils were invited to watch The Consecration from the altar steps. Thank you to Father O`Farrell for his help and please continue to pray for these children that they embark upon their next Sacrament with the courage and love of the Holy Spirit.
