Winter Clothing and Sportswear Campaign 2021

Following the success of last year’s winter clothing campaign, South Lanarkshire Council are relaunching their now annual Winter Clothing Campaign. This year the campaign is being extended to include sportswear.

South Lanarkshire Council’s Winter Clothing and Sportswear campaign will run from Monday 20th of September until Friday 1st of October. Donations of new or nearly new winter jackets and sportswear are being welcomed at supermarkets across South Lanarkshire. They will then be laundered and given to early years, primary and secondary aged children and young people who need them.

Please see the attached flyer for supermarkets taking part. Any donations would be greatly received.

Participatory Budget

Participatory Budgeting is a way that everyone involved in the school community has a direct say in how money is spent. We are gathering ideas for how a percentage of Pupil Equity Fund money can be spent.

We would like your thoughts on how we can spend £4,508 (10% of PEF money) to support the learning and health and wellbeing of pupils directly affected by poverty. You will get a vote for the final ideas in the Participatory Budget vote at the end of this month! Please complete the questionnaire below by Friday 17th September.
