Participatory Budgeting is back for 2022!
Participatory Budgeting is a way that everyone involved in the school community has a direct say in how money is spent. We are gathering ideas for how a percentage of Pupil Equity Fund money can be spent.
We would like your thoughts on how we can spend £1,960 (5% of Rigside Primary School’s PEF allocation) to support the learning and health and wellbeing of pupils directly affected by poverty.
You will get a vote for the final ideas in the Participatory Budget vote at the end of this month!

Welcome Back!
Welcome back! We hope you all had a wonderful summer holiday.
We are looking forward to welcoming all of our pupils and their families back tomorrow morning.
All children should enter the playground through the front gate and line up and their new classroom door. We ask that parents do not enter the playground.
We are particularly looking forward to meeting all of our new P1 pupils. New P1 pupils and parents should meet Mrs Percy at the front door at 9am, where you can take photographs and walk with your child to their new classroom.
Participatory Budget Vote Results
Our Participatory Budget pupil group representative has been busy counting all of the votes and we can reveal that the winning project was….Playground Equipment and Resources! Thank you to everyone for returning their ballot paper.
