On Monday 27th March Sean, from Titanic Honour and Glory, visited our school for the day. He brought props and artefacts with him. The children had fun dressing up and acting out scenarios about life on the Titanic, while learning lots of fun facts from the Shipbuilding though to when it finally sank.

Today Parentsportal.scot goes live in our school.
On Tuesday 31st January we went to Tea on Tuesday to recite the Scottish poems we have been learning for Burns day. The children all recited the poems they had worked hard learning and sung some favourite Scottish songs.
On Thursday 12th January our P7’s visited Biggar High School for a STEM day where they got to meet and work with other pupils who are also moving up in August. They took part in a number of challenges and finished the visit with a tour of the school.
On the Friday it was the turn of the P6’s who attended a World of Work day where they also go to meet and work with pupils from the other schools in the area.
Both visits were a success and enjoyed by all the pupils.
