Health and Wellbeing

It has been very cold recently and we were thinking of ways we could help out wildlife. To help the birds and encourage birds to our garden for the big bird watch, we thought we could create a bird feeder. Use your cheerios and ribbon to create your own bird feeder. Thread the cheerios on to the ribbon, when full tie the ends together and hang it on a tree for the birds to enjoy.

Skills- development of fine motor skills, playing a part in caring for the world we live in

A very Special Burns performance

This morning we received a lovely Burns poem performed by one of the children who previously attended Cairns Nursery Class, our very own Headteachers little girl, Evie Campbell. I think you will agree that Evie has done a fantastic job performing ‘The Belles of Mauchine’ by Robert Burns.

If you know any Burns poems or songs that you would like to share, you can send them to the nursery email –  gw15cairnsnursery@glow.sch.uk
