*3-5 room consultations are taking place this week, if you haven’t already made an appointment please speak to your child’s keyworker*
Tuesday: TODAY IS HAPPY SHOEDSAY: CHILDREN CAN WEAR WHATEVER SHOES MAKE THEM FEEL HAPPY (TRAINERS, SLIPPERS, DRESSING UP SHOES ETC) AND ARE ENCOURAGED TO WALK TO NURSREY AND MAKE A DONTATION TO THE ‘LIVING STREETS’ CHARITY!!!
Tuesday: Our new depute Jennifer will be in nursery in the morning to spend some time getting to know staff, children and parents. We are looking forward to welcoming Jennifer to our Ballerup Family
Wednesday: 11.25am – Bookbug
*Nursery will be closed on Thursday 23rd May due to St. Vincent’s Primary school being used as a ‘Polling Place’*
*Nursery will be closed on Friday 24th and Monday 27th May for the Bank Holiday Weekend!!!*
GARDEN TIDY!!!
Thank you so much to the staff, children, parents and grandparents who came along on Saturday to help us spruce up our garden areas. Everyone did a fantastic job; the gardens are a work in progress but so much amazing work was done on Saturday to kick start the development of the outdoor areas. Thank you so much again to everyone, your help and continued support is very much appreciated!!!

Congratulations to Suzy from the 2-3 room who gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Tuesday 7th May. Both Suzy and baby Emily are doing well and we are very much look forward to meeting her!!!
Week Beginning 13th May ’19!!!
*3-5 room parent consultations start this week and will take place each day until Friday 31st May. If you haven’t already made an appointment, please speak to your child’s keyworker*
Wednesday: 11.15am & 2.30pm – Bookbug
Wednesday: 10.30am & 2pm – Louise from Childsmile in to do toothbrushing with the children.
Thursday: John Wilson photography will be here all day to take graduation photographs of all pre-school children. If your child is not in on this day please speak to their keyworker to make arrange a time to come in.
HAPPY SHOESDAY!!!
On Tuesday 21st May we will be participating in HAPPY SHOESDAY to raise money for ‘Living Streets’; this charity strives to make streets a safer place for all!!!
On HAPPY SHOESDAY children can whatever they think is their happy shoes (trainers, dressing up shoes, slippers etc, they could even decorate their own shoes). Children are encouraged to walk to nursery on this day if possible wearing their happy shoes and make a donation to the charity!!!

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone to has contributed to the Easter Raffle and Sponsored Walk…
Our total raised between the two so far is £479.48!!!
This money will go towards Sprucing up our garden areas for the summer and will help us to kick start kitting out our new nurture room.

Wednesday: 11.10am – Everyone is welcome to come along to our ‘LITTERPICK’; This is part of our on-going eco project and was very successful when we did in March… Please dress appropriately for the weather!!!!
Saturday 11th May: Everyone is welcome along to our ‘Garden Tidy’; our mood board of ideas for our garden is in the main entrance for everyone to see and add their ideas to… We welcome all help and if you have any items you feel would be helpful to us and are happy to donate please speak to a member of staff.
Light refreshments will be provided!!!
LITTER PICK!!!
After the success of our last litter pick in March. We are planning another one on Wednesday 8th May at 11.10am. This encourages our children to help look after their local area and is in keeping with our nurseries ongoing ECO project. We welcome all parents, carers and families who would like to come along to help, please be at nursery for around 11am!!!
