3-5 room: Purple and Green Group stay and play – please let your child’s keyworker know if you will be attending.

 CHILDREN ARE ENCOUARGED TO WEAR THEIR PYJAMAS TO NURSREY TODAY TO HAVE A FUN PYJAMA DAY. INSTEAD OF GVIING MONETARY DONATIONS FOR NURSREY FUNDS WE WOULD VERY MUCH APPRECIATE DONATTIONS OF RAFFLE PRIZES FOR OUR CHRISTMAS FAYRE!!!

Monday:

3-5 room consultations will be taking place this week for the Red, Purple, Pink, Yellow groups. If you haven’t arranged an appointment please speak to your child’s keyworker.

10am and 2pm: Today we will be visited by ‘Aiken Drum’ (Storyteller) who will entertain the children with Halloween stories, songs, rhymes and dancing!!!

Tuesday:

10am: Julie will be taking a group of children for some muddy fun in ‘Forest Adventures’ this morning!!!

10am: Kerry and the Christmas Fayre group will be doing some planning this morning to make our Christmas Fayre a successful event… All parents/carers are welcome to join the group to share their own ideas and help organise the event!!!

Wednesday:

HALLOWEEN PARTIES WILL BE TAKING PLACE TODAY DURING NORMAL NURSREY SESSIONS… THIS YEAR WE ARE HAVING ‘ECO-WEEN’, CHILDREN ARE ENCOURAGED TO CREATE THEIR OWN COSTUME USING RECYCLABLE MATERIALS!!!

3.30pm: Our new nursery teacher; Kirsty Watt is coming to visit this afternoon to get to know the children and staff before she starts with us!!!!

It is that time of year again where we are preparing for our Christmas Fayre. We are currently looking for donations for our Christmas Hamper.

As this is the October Week we a re a little quieter!!!

Wednesday:

Today we welcome Rachel Boyd who is joining us to do her work placement at Ballerup. Rachel will be with us every Wednesday and will be working within the 2-3 playroom!

Friday:

Today is ‘Foodie Friday’, please help yourself to some delicious food donated by Tesco and Fareshare!!!

THIS YEAR’S HALLOWEEN PARTIES WILL BE ON WEDNESDAY 30TH OCTOBER!!!

AS WE ARE AN ‘ECO NURSERY’ WE HAVE DECIDED TO TIE THIS INTO THE FESTIVITIES AND HAVE ‘ECO HALLOWEEN PARTIES’.

CHILDREN ARE ENCOURAGED TO REUSE, RECYCLE AND MAKE THEIR OWN HALLOWEEN COSTUMES, PLEASE FIND SOME IDEAS BELOW TO SPARK YOU AND YOUR CHILD’S INSPIRATION. WE CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT YOU ALL COME UP WITH!!!

     

Today we were visited by two Community Police Officers who chatted to the children about Road Safety and how to keep themselves safe. They even brought a police van for the children to see and surprised us all by turning on the siren and lights as they left!!!

Some of our children have been getting very creative with ‘junk’ today and have been creating amazing Robot costumes!!!!
