Our children and staff had a lovely morning out at Calderglen park today. They had great fun playing in the park and loved visiting the animals in the mini-zoo!!!

‘Foody Friday’ – Please help yourself to food from our ‘Foody table’ kindly donated by Tesco through the Fareshare initiative!!!

*We have a new sign in and sign out system for the children. Please ensure you sign your child In and out each day they attend nursery; this ensures their safety and assists staff during fire evacuations etc. If you are unsure about how to use the new sign in/out sheets please don’t hesitate to speak to a member a staff who will help you*

children who are in on Friday 12th July will be going on a special trip to Calderglen to have lots of fun in the park and visit the animals in the mini zoo!!! We will be using the South Lanarkshire Council Community bus to transport children and staff to and from Calderglen.

We ask that all children who attend on this day be at nursery for no later than 9am as the bus will leave at 9.15am prompt.

All children and staff will return around 11.30am.

We hope the weather changes for the better and the sun shines but please prepare your child for all weather eventualities eg: wellies, jacket, sun hats, sun cream!!!

Don’t forget to collect an outing permission form from your child’s keyworker and complete it before Thursday 11th July!!!

WE HAVE A FAIRLY QUIET WEEK ON THE CARDS… DUE TO LOWER NUMBERS OF CHILDREN WE ARE SPENDING LOTS OF TIME OUTSIDE; IN THE GARDEN, IN THE FOREST, GOING FOR WALKS AROUND THE COMMUNITY ETC.

AS SCOTTISH WEATHER IS VERY UNPREDICTABLE PLEASE ENSURE YOUR CHILD HAS WELLIES AND A RAIN JACKET FOR RAINY DAYS AND SUNCREAM AND A SUN HAT FOR WARMER DAYS!!!

BALLERUP IS NOW IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TESCO AND FARESHARE; EVERY FRIDAY MORNING TESCO DONATE THEIR SURPLUS FOOD TO US FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES TO TAKE HOME.

LOOK OUT FOR OUR FOOD TABLE IN THE MAIN RECEPTION AND PLEASE HELP YOURSELF!!!
