The first Parent Council meeting of 2015 will be held in school tonight at 6:30pm.  As ever, all are welcome to come along.

The parent council newsletter will be coming out to you in the school bags today.  This newsletter will also carry the new parent council logo (which represents a bridge in the shape of the Hallside ‘H’ with our parent council being ‘the bridge’ between the school and all of the parents and carers associated with us).  All future correspondence from the parent council will have this logo so that you know it’s from them.

They are looking for any new members, or anyone interesting in getting involved in a separate fundraising group.  If interested you can contact them in a variety of ways (they are all on the newsletter).

Well done and thank you to the members of the parent council and the school support staff for a brilliant spring tea this morning.  A vast and amazing array of homebaking and some amazing entertainment from our string players (Eilidh McEwan, Paul Sime, Euan Sweeten, Ellie Beattie, Sophie Crichton, Angus Robb, Courtney McKillop, Ashley Rinn, Shaw Laird, Sarah Ross, Leah Jo Robson, Lauren Thompson) and our talent show singing winners (Sam Glover, Alison Gannon, Emma Curr, Anais Sneddon, Lauren Mackay, Yasmin Chauhdry) has led to the raising of a brilliant:

Just a reminder that the Parent Council are organising a Spring Tea on Monday 20th May @ 9am.

If you can come along you will get a nice cuppa, some cakes and a rare chance to see the winners of our singing talent show, as well as the Hallside string players.
