Primary 3/4 had a very busy day learning outdoors. We joined together with P1 to go to the Brough beach and walk our daily mile around the Houll Loch. It was a bit rainy but we did it!

Me, Ashleigh, Lara, Liam, Ria, Emily, Connor and lots of other classes mates made an Easter garden. We use fake flower, real flowers, stones, fake bees, soil, leaves and moss. We put everything into our garden. We made a tomb from the Easter story. We also made the cross and decorated it with some daisies .

This term we have been learning African drumming with Joy. A couple days ago all the classes preformed and all the mums and dads came to watch. For our class performance, me and Billy got to play the dun duns. Some of the other classes came to watch as well. After all the classes finished their performance we had a game of wanna keke boom boom ( a really fun dancing game.)

Last term our class topic was Vikings. We did some searching in books for info about clothes. Then P3 painted four Viking persons. They looked awesome.
Me and Ashleigh made a long house ( Vikings houses). We made it out of one card board box, six pompoms , selotape and posit notes. It looked so cool.

Me, Liam and Frankie are making a Car game for the P.1s. The car game is supposed to be educational so they can learn the digits 1 to 20. It can be folded into a book and it has a painted cover. When it is not folded into a book there is roads with speed bumps, signs, colour, grass and drains. On the other half there is a garage with parking spaces numbered 1 to 20. So you need to sort the cars which have numbers on them into the right parking spot.

Primary 3 and Primary 4 have been working very hard to learn their sketch for the concert. Today they had a break from singing to make a very important backdrop.

Everyone wore their jammies or onesies to school today to support Children in Need. P3/4 even did their daily mile wearing them!

We have filled in the Wellbeing webs and we have learned about sugar. Bairns should have no more than 30 grams a day. That is about 7 teaspoons. 1 mars bar or 1 tin of coke has 7 spoons. An orange has 3 spoons. Don’t eat too much sugar.
