Hedgehog Homes!

October 10, 2018 by Effie | 0 comments

For a part of our topic we did hedgehog homes! Everyone made one. They were all different shapes. We reused plastic bottles, paper, plasticene, toilet  roll cylinders, shredded paper and rope. Leo did a giant factory. Everyone had to make sure their hedgehog could fit in their homes. It took us a while but everyone made one. Then we put them on a table over night and they were still standing! Lets see some photos of how we did it.

Reduce Reuse Recycle

This term our topic is Reduce Reuse Recycle. We had a man come in his name was Brydon. We had to split up in teams.  Both teams had a black bag full of things to sort. And both teams also had two big tubs. They were named after two titles cans and plastic bottles and our second one was paper and cardboard. Not everything can be recycled.  We watched a video all about composting and recycling. Brydon said that it is good to have bugs around your plants and compost. It was really fun  with Brydon.
