Thursday 3rd March: S3 visit P4/5 to see their ‘Natural Disaster Showcase’

Thursday was an exciting day as S3 got to visit Primary 4/5 and take part in their ‘Showcase of Learning’.
Background to the visit:
P4/5 have been learning about Natural Disasters over the last few months. They invited us to see their work as S3 have also studied ‘Natural Hazards’ as part of their N4/5 Geography course.
What we thought:
We were all really impressed with how well organised P4/5 were and with the fantastic collection of models, experiments, videos, PowerPoints and posters which the primary bairns shared with us. Secondary 3 got a chance to see the displays, to speak to the bairns, to watch some experiments and to give the primary bairns some feedback too. It was a super to share the primary work and the visit gave S3 the chance to revise some of their own learning too.
Feedback from Primary:

“I loved sharing with S3” – Danny
“We got to share all our learning about Natural Disasters with Secondary.” – Tom
“It was good to show our learning.” – Ryan
“The S3 children were super, really supportive and gave the children some lovely feedback that the Primary 4/5 children were really proud about.” – Miss Patterson

Thank you P4/5 for inviting us to join your class and for showing us your projects. We really enjoyed it 
