Classes across the school have been competing in the Scottish Sumdog Competition which was tied in with Maths Week. Congratulations to P4/5 who finished 11th in Scotland out of 3000 classes. P6/7 also did well finishing 56th.

The new S3 were out on the Orienteering leg of their John Muir programme on Friday. They endured the drizzly conditions to complete the task. Thanks to Miss E Irvine and Miss E Spence for organising the course.

Well done to Irena Polson, Michael Poleson, Joe Pearson and Lauren Sandison who represented the school in the Shetland Maths Challenge final in Sandwick today. The team finished outside the top 3 but enjoyed their day out and brain exercise.
