Last Friday, Holly surprised her mum with a lovely tray of goodies. Well done Holly.
On Monday, we had a smiling challenge. We had to smile to more than 5 people. “When people smile at you, it makes them have a happy day.” Emily.
On Tuesday, we were to pick up litter and put it in the bin. Nayana found a crisp packet and a sweetie wrapper in the playground at break time. Nora saw a sweetie wrapper being blown into the cloakroom and Ollie had to chase a crisp packet around the playground becuase of the wind, but they eventually caught their litter and put it in the bin. Well done to everyone who keep our playground clean.
Miss Tate hasn’t had her camera out for the last couple of days but the class have continued to be very kind to each other.
On Tuesday the class read stories to their partners. Sianna and Hillel kept this idea up at home. Sianna read to her mum and Hillel read to his little sister.
On Wednesday we tried to say nice things to someone else. Mary told Sianna she liked her jumper, Nora told Hannah she had nice hair and Ryley J told Kayden she was doing well during the Festive 15 Run.
Today our Advent Calendar suggested asking someone we don’t usually play with, to join in a game at break times. Miss Tate got her camera out at lunch time and this is what she found!

Today, the class was set the challenge to help out with some jobs at home. The jobs the children did ranged from tidying their bedroom to dusting and hoovering. Well done everyone.
Ollie’s mam sent in a picture to show us how helpful he has been. He hoovered the sitting room, then swept the stairs and scrubbed them with soapy water and a scrubbing brush.
Sianna has been writing Christmas cards to send to people and Hannah helped to make dinner.
Today we have been keeping the classroom tidy. We have been sharpening pencils and testing pens whenever we had a spare moment, but this means Miss Tate doesn’t have any photos of us! She is very thankful we took on this job though.
Ollie has been helping out and being kind at home too. He has helped to feed his brother today. Keep it up Ollie.
This is a couple of people hugging a special friend. We like making other people feel happy.
Mason has been working hard at home to be kind too. At the weekend he made up his own act of kindness and read his sister a story, which she loved. Well done Mason.
