Term 3 kicked off with Evie and Isla being part of the Jarl Squad for Scalloway Fire Festival.

Then we had some snow activities outside using our knowledge of measure and team work skills to build a snowman in 5 minutes.
We also had some hot chocolate in the staffroom!


Primary 6 finished of there STEM SPACE maths project which helped improved their spatial reasoning skills.


For our topic made a Rainforests of the World display and will be creating our own mini Rainforests in the final week of Term 4. Mrs Fox was in for a lesson all about Fairtrade and bananas. We will be baking with Fairtrade ingredients in Term 4.

Climate Smarter Project
This Term P6 we taking part in the Climate Smarter project learning about renewable energy, forestry, and micro bits. We have taken part in lots of experiments and Mr Rose has come in to teach us about Turbines and electricity. P6 will be taking part in the STEMOVATORS 2025 challenge and the Climate Smarter Eco Schools challenge in May. Watch this space for more updates!

STEM day
We had a visit from the Royal Navy who organised some STEM challenges for us to take part in. We used teamwork, communication and problem solving skills to complete the challenges.
