Ten pupils from P6 went to Lerwick today to compete in the regional heats to win a place in the Euro Quiz 2025 final. The class have been learning about European geography, history culture, general knowledge and French vocabulary. The class faced some very tough questions but did extremely well coming fourth and sixth overall out of 15 teams. Well done Primary 6, Scalloway School is very proud of you all!

Climate Smarter Project
This Term P6 we taking part in the Climate Smarter project learning about renewable energy, forestry, and micro bits. We have taken part in lots of experiments and Mr Rose has come in to teach us about Turbines and electricity. P6 will be taking part in the STEMOVATORS 2025 challenge and the Climate Smarter Eco Schools challenge in May. Watch this space for more updates!

We had a visit from the Royal Navy who organised some STEM challenges for us to take part in. We used teamwork, communication and problem solving skills to complete the challenges.
