  1. A rockpool is the most magical microcosm of life. Creatures have to deal with huge extremes like the tide!! Twice a day the washing machine effect threatens to rip them from their homes. They also fight for space and battle with water loss, changes in salinity, a small pool can heat up on a day like we got and then cool right down at night! Imagine!!
