   Worms are the number one food for our beautiful wading birds of which the Whaap is one..and would you believe they are RSPB’s number one priority species to protect? Hard to believe when we could hear them calling from the school!!
   Can anyone explain why we couldn’t charm worms in the playground but there were plenty in the field?

   Alice says it is because the gardeners might have put down something when they cut the grass and the field is wetter!
   Liam says there could be something which kills worms!
   Alisers thinks that there might not be much space in the school for worms to live as there is gravel in the ground.
   Finn thinks that the grass outside has been treated!
