We have been learning about the skills of collaboration and how we can work together to help get jobs done.
We worked together in pairs in the Wildlife Area to find the hidden Easter Egg pictures. We counted the different pictures on them and took turns to record the answers and solve our Easter Egg puzzle.
We don’t care what the weather man says, when the weather man says it’s raining!
We made sure we stayed warm and dry while we jumped up and down in puddles in the playground by wearing waterproof clothing.
We are learning about Planet Earth and how it is made up of water and land.
We went for a walk to the nearby burn because we were curious to see where it ended… the sea!
The P7s have been teaching the P1s some Scottish dances. We have learned how to do the Virginia Reel and the Boston Two Step. It’s been a lot of fun!
Two police officers, Michael and Megan visited our class to introduce the new Dogs Against Drugs puppy; Echo.
We heard how Michael is training Echo to be a police dog and to help keep us all safe.
Recently, Primary 1 explored how the cold temperatures had frozen puddles nearby the school. We took care to walk safely. We had fun seeing what happened when we skimmed stones across the tops of the puddles and threw stones on the ice to crack it.

Chloe from the Shetland Library visited our class for a special Christmas Book Bug session. We enjoyed listening to a story called This Rock is Mine that reminded us the importance of sharing. We also enjoyed singing some Christmas songs.
