Library Time!

We have spent a lot of time this term reading for enjoyment. It has been great fun to explore our reading likes and dislikes. We are so lucky that we have so many brilliant books to choose from in our school library!

Bee Yourself

Happiness has been one of our school value focuses this month. We read Tom Percival’s book Perfectly Norman. This is a great story and it also helped us learn all about the importance of being ourselves. Here is some advice from Primary 4.

Games Making

P4 have finished the term in the gym doing Games Making.  In small groups, they had to follow weekly instructions to create a group game or activity.  Key areas of focus have been

  • how to work as a group
  • developing confidence to voice ideas and opinions
  • accepting other people’s ideas and comments
  • being able to adapt ideas to make them better
  • being able to follow the instructions.

We have also started our swimming block.  Today we looked at why being flexible can help our swimming ability.  Swimming continues after the holidays.
