Along with some P4 pupils, we had excellent fun gathering all the tatties we planted last year. We also gathered apples straight from the trees and tomatoes which were all gobbled up quickly!

We all got a peerie bag of tatties to take home! 😋

This term, we are focusing on invasion games, with hockey and basketball forming the main areas of learning. We began with a week of skills development to build the core attributes required for success in both sports. These included cooperation, dodging, weaving, attacking, defending, communication, and decision-making.

We then moved on to hockey. Throughout this block, pupils have been building their confidence in controlling the ball, passing accurately, and dribbling effectively. They have had regular opportunities to practise and refine these skills before applying them in fun, competitive games.
