We have started our new topic on Famous Scots! We began by looking at how we get historical information and whether different sources are classed as primary or secondary sources.
We then went on to learn about William Wallace and Mary, Queen of Scots. We explored some fascinating events from their lives and discovered just how dramatic Scottish history can be! We also started to discuss whether evidence is reliable or is there any bias.
Some of us particularly enjoyed learning about the more gruesome details of the past – although perhaps not everyone felt quite the same way!
