We wrote poems using kennings, inspired by our favourite animals.

We sent some to Sir David Atteborough, and Finlay suggested we send some to King Charles, because we know they are both animal lovers.

This week a letter came addressed to the children in P4/5…

We got a letter back from Buckingham Palace, saying how much the king had enjoyed our poems and how impressed he was with the illustrations!

Definitely a royal seal of approval for P4/5’s writing skills! 👑🦭
