Primary 6-7 have ticked number 5 off on their school bucket list – ‘be the teacher for the afternoon.’
They each chose their own personal project to research and then teach. They made a PowerPoint with key information to present on their chosen topic and a quiz for the rest of the class to complete. They then had to take full responsibility for teaching the class a skill linked to their topic.
They all did an amazing job being the teacher. They were confident and capable, showing great leadership skills. We had such a great variety of lesson topics and skills:
1. Netball skills
2. How to code microbits
3. Rugby skills
4. Famous structures/how to make models of them
5. Famous artists & how to blend paint/create tone
6. Crofting & how to cook the perfect steak!
7. Shetland sheep & how to knit
Well done primary 6-7!
