John Muir was a great believer in being outside in all seasons and all weathers. With this in mind, S2 classes spent a day in November enjoying the Kergord woodland. We spent the day in our Maths sets (so experiencing the outdoors with a different group of friends).
Pete had us scrambling through the undergrowth and reflecting on how the wild makes us feel. He told stories around the camp fire and had us building shelters. Some groups undertook a few rope challenges and some of us even got to play the best game in the world!
Not bad for a day out in Shetland in winter! And who says Shetland doesn’t have any trees…
An excellent, stand-alone shelter – well done guys!
