Well done S2 2015-16!

An amazing achievement from last session’s S2 cohort!  92% of the year group have achieved a John Muir Award!  The vast majority achieved the Explorer Level.  An excellent achievement, we hope you are all very proud of yourself.

Voar Redd Up time

Now that the Outdoor Adventures are over its time for us all to participate in the Voar Redd Up – Shetland’s award winning community environmental clean up.

As well as cleaning up our current local area, class 2E stretched their legs and headed to the Clickimin to clean up the north end of the Loch – our neighbourhood in the years to come!

AHS wins National Award!

Joint-best initiative: Wrigley’s Litter Less Campaign 2015!

WLLC Presentation

We won for integrating our WLLC grant into our John Muir Award & our curriculum.

Well done to all the S2 pupils last year.

But a special thanks to Rachel, Catriona, Hamish & Ellis (& Mrs McDiarmid) for their fantastic presentation at the Young Reports for the Environment conference in Glasgow.
