Week 5 Northern Connections

p34 continue to learn about the Vikings. This week they explored how they may have coloured their clothes using vegetables. The results were stunning.

P45 were introduced to Makaton. Kaylee Ann led the session and took us through some songs with signing.

p67 started a project with 2 schools in the Artic Circle in Norway and Finland. We met on line and shared information about our schools and communities. We plan to work together over the next year sharing culture, learning together about science and art and using technology to do so.
