Week 4 Anti-bullying, road safety and Children in Need

It has been a super week in school.  We’ve been learning about bullying and road safety.  P12 did an amazing drawing club on the Tiger Who Came to Tea.  This is an early years approach to emergent writing and is working really well in our p12 class.  They have also been enjoying the laptops.  P34 have enjoyed more toy making and have been learning more about the properties of shapes, p56 have been working on the Red Cog of Emotion Works and creating a poem about body sensations as well as working on anti bullying learning and p67 have been doing lots of cooperative work on shape and creating scenery for their Christmas show.  Our senior pupils have been supporting the peerie ones with their learning.  The Orca have also visited Hamnavoe twice this week!

Our Children in Need event was a huge success.  We loved wearing our PJs at school and our Pudsey Picnic.  Pudsey was delighted with our total raised of £412.63.  Thank you Hamnavoe you are all so kind!
