We have been looking at Fairytales this term. We have written a few of our own tales. We have also looked at Shetland Folklore and found out about Trows.

We have started to make our own trow for the school.

Our Nursery pupils (or pupils in our Early Learning and Childcare Centre-ELCC) are looking at boats and the sea. So this week it is submarines.

We made portholes and tried to work out which was the biggest submarine by putting them in order.

Spring might have sprung here in Foula. We found a daffodil growing in the school grounds this week. Our crocuses are battling the weather at the moment. The first ones were flattened by the snow.

This is our attempt at a new website. Our internet is quite sporadic so we will keep our updates quite short and we won’t be able to use as many pictures as we would like. But it should keep us in touch with the world.
