Mr Rose has been telling us about the links between electricity and magnets. He brought an electromagnet to show us. It lifted all these paperclips. Our classroom magnets can only lift 7 paperclips if we are very careful!
We were able to make our own small battery powered electromagnets.
Mr Rose showed us many different uses for magnets. He brought one that ran on mains electricity that was able to lift seven of our kilogram (Kg) weights in one go.
