Four Primary 6 pupils travelled to Lerwick on Tuesday 24th March to take part in the annual Euroquiz event.
Teams from all over Shetland took part on the day and after an incredibly difficult 4 rounds, covering History and Geography, Languages, Understanding European Cultures and General Knowledge: European Affairs, our team finished in 5th place! It was very close, with our team only 6 points behind the winning team!
Well done to all pupils who worked so hard in the lead up to the event, studying at home and even spending some of your lunch times learning together.
We are all so proud of you!

Our Dunrossness Euroquiz Team were excited to take part in the Shetland Heat today. We won’t hear any results until next week but we want to congratulate them for studying in their own time to prepare for the day and for the amazing support and encouragement they gave each other along the way. They scored extremely highly in the languages round which is fantastic! Whatever the result, we are proud of you all! Thanks also, to Lily who prepared but could not take part on the day and to Mrs Colvin who sat with them through the test.
