Our setting operates a free flow access to the outdoor area throughout the day, the outside door is open so the children can choose where they would like to play and come and go as they wish.
There are lots of real life experiences in our outdoor space, our polycrub is an amazing space for growing, planting, and understanding where our food comes from. We have nursery hens that the children look after, feeding them daily, cleaning their house, checking their water and playing with them in the garden.
The children have opportunities to explore the wider area outwit the Nursery garden and playpark, some of their favorite places to explore are the burn, the beach and the muddy puddle place!
