We were delighted to welcome the Stuart, James and Shane along with the fire engine on Monday afternoon. We were shown all the different things that are stored in the fire engine before having a go of sitting in the fire engine and then (the favourite part) spraying the hose! A super afternoon, enjoyed by all!
Mrs Bannister Outdoor Afternoon
The lovely Mrs Bannister had the bairns outside this afternoon. The sun was out but it was bitterly cold, but we had lots of fun! Thanks, Mrs Bannister.
Dougie Grant and Neil Grant visit
P3/4 kindly offered for us to join them to listen in to Dougie and Neil talking about viking sagas.
Play Leaders and Reading Buddies
The bairns were delighted to have play leaders and reading buddies starting this week.
Primary 6 led some games and activities for the Primary 2 in the hall and Primary 1 were treated to Primary 5 reading to them in small groups.
Term 3 Update
That’s wis settled into term 3 and the bairns have been busy! Here is (a lot!) of photos of some of the things we have been up to.

- High Ladder – Encourages climbing skills and confidence.
- High Bench – Adds variety for balancing and creative movement.

PE Week 4 Gymnastics Equipment
This Week’s Equipment Highlights
- New Heights: One box was set higher, and another had a lower bench leading up to it, adding variety and challenge.
- Ropes Added: The ropes were introduced this week and were a huge hit with the pupils!
- Directional Changes: We included a mix of benches, beams, and tables with changes of direction to keep things interesting and engaging.

Oreo and Fudge visit
Mrs Bannister had another surprise for us… we had Oreo and Fudge in for a visit. The bairns loved having them along and taking care of them for the day.
