Continuing on with Magnets, we had lots of fun using the magnets to attract and repel things. We looked at the north and south poles and what makes them attract and what makes them repel.
Big Play
On Friday, we had our Big Play. A lovely afternoon where the children could choose where to play and who to play with! A lovely, busy afternoon!
Deserts and Flamingos
What a busy afternoon! The bairns carried out a variety of different activities… and some even managed to combine both themes into one project!

For our Big Question this week, we have been looking at magnets and did some exploration with them. Lots of fun finding things around the classroom. They also showed me what attracting magnets look like and repelling magnets… they picked this up very quickly.
Cabybaras and Islands
Our play projects have been capybaras and islands… and the bairns did not fail to impress!
Sea and Sloths
Our plays projects this week are the sea and sloths. The bairns have been busy this afternoon and come up with some fantastic creations.

We have settled in so well and the class are full of hard working, keen bairns – a real joy to work with! It is going to be a very quick term!
Take care.
