PE Update – Football Block

We started the year in PE with a Football block, focusing on building confidence and ability in key skills.

InĀ Primary 1/2, our focus was on developing the fundamental skills needed for football. This included running, stopping, starting, changing direction, spatial awareness, listening, following instructions, responding to cues, and handling equipment with control. We also introduced dribbling and passing with the ball, alongside other activities using different equipment to build coordination and confidence.

May the Force Be With You

Continuing on with Magnets, we had lots of fun using the magnets to attract and repel things. We looked at the north and south poles and what makes them attract and what makes them repel.

Deserts and Flamingos

What a busy afternoon! The bairns carried out a variety of different activities… and some even managed to combine both themes into one project!

May the Force be with you

For our Big Question this week, we have been looking at magnets and did some exploration with them. Lots of fun finding things around the classroom. They also showed me what attracting magnets look like and repelling magnets… they picked this up very quickly.

Sea and Sloths

Our plays projects this week are the sea and sloths. The bairns have been busy this afternoon and come up with some fantastic creations.
