Hi world! I’m Anthea B. Here are some things we have been doing this week in primary 5/6/7.

Maths Week Scotland.  This week is Maths Week Scotland which means we celebrate maths. We have played some games like BEWARE and RACE TO 30 to celebrate maths. We also have a Sumdog competition were we have to answer sums to get higher up the leaderboard within the whole of Scotland. The class with the highest score at the end of the week gets a prize.

Homework Presentations. On Monday we presented our homework projects about people In The Arts. People have been doing things about Peppa Pig, Ava Max, Maggie Adamson, Taylor Swift, Bruce Peebles, Chris Pratt, Ella Bright, Ariana Grande, Sir David Attenborough and Benson Boone. They were all very interesting.

Big Question. We have been learning about Scottish castles and key Scottish figures. On Wednesday we worked in groups of 2 or 3 to research famous people who lived back in that time like Mary Queen of Scots, Saint Margaret and William Wallace. There were presentations, plays, puppet shows, models and detailed pieces of artwork created.

Writing poetry. Last, we have written some poetry about the mini movie, Something Fishy. We wrote ‘Something Fishy’ adventures and acrostic poems. See below for the selection of poems that were written.
