Play is recognized as a universal child’s right under Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

In class we made Scottish airline paper planes with a UK registration code similar to car registration plates. We then flew our paper planes in the GP room. We guessed first then measured the distance using standard and non-standard units.
The owner of the plane that flew the furthest chose a wooden spoon to measure how far it flew. It travelled a distance of 17 wooden spoons. The wooden spoon was the same length as a ruler.
