  • Windsock Models

As part of our weather topic, we had fun making our very own windsocks! We spoke about how windsocks can show us the direction that the wind is blowing and give us an idea of how strong it is. The children did a fantastic job following both verbal and written instructions to create their colourful models!

  • STEM

We had lots of fun exploring STEM with KAPLA! The children worked together in teams to design and build different structures, sharing ideas and problem-solving along the way. A brilliant way to develop teamwork, creativity and engineering skills through play!

  • Trip to the 60/40

In our health and wellbeing time, we walked down to the 60:40 for a session with the young sports leaders at the Anderson! They did a fantastic job being our teachers, and we hope they will have us back soon!

  • Health and Wellbeing

On Friday afternoons, we now join the other P4 pupils for Health and Wellbeing with Ms Lister and myself.

We have been learning about the ‘Zones of Regulation’ and have been thinking about our emotions and how we can help make ourselves feel better when we are angry or upset.

It’s a lovely opportunity to come together as a year group, learn alongside one another and build friendships with a wider range of peers.
