Getting ready for Anderson High School

This is an exciting time for you all as you move from Primary in to Secondary. We know that you will have lots of questions about the Anderson High School which we have tried to answer here.

You can read through our S1 Welcome Booklet which contains lots of photos of the school and important information about how the school runs. You will have had this booklet posted out to you.

Inside and Around the School is a photo guide to learn your way around the school.

There is also a virtual tour that shows you in more detail what the inside of the school looks like as well as the grounds outside.

There are two fun activities you can complete if you wish to. These activities, like the Welcome Booklet, will help you to gain a better understanding of what the school looks like and might answer some of the questions you will have.

Our Youth Worker, Kevin Gillick, introduces himself here and explains some of the work that he does in the AHS.

Our MCR Pathways coordinator, Keira Tulloch, also introduces herself and the work she does.

Keep a check on this site as we will be updating it, adding more information such as a virtual tour of the school.

We really hope that you find this site useful.

Please remember just how much we are all looking forward to meeting you once you start S1 at the AHS.
