Brilliant!
I will show your site to my daughter. She is 14 and is a beginner, having just started seeing what enjoyment can be got out of making your own knitted things. Well done to you all. We live a long way away but would love to visit you when we next travel to Scotland. Just keep knitting. Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year.
Hello Maakin”s! I am so happy you exist and do such interesting things. Though I live on the West Coast of America I have visited Shetland 4 times in the last 2 years. Blame Hazel Tindall for my love of Shetland and Shetland knitters. I hope you realize what a magical place it is. I’ve knit faire isle designs myself since I was in school so you can imagine how exciting it was for me, at age 68 to finally be lucky to visit Shetland and I will be back again.
I think you should make hoodies that read “I support Shetland maakin’s kids” to sell on your blog or during Wool Week.
Thrilling to see you all at working at school and at Wool Week. The rest of the knitting world is very grateful that you are carrying on the traditions from Shetland. You will benefit all of us by continuing this important work.
Super photos!
I love seeing what you Creative Cookies are up to! 😐
