Creating a New Database

Method 1

  1. Open DB4SQL
  2. Click the “New Database” button
  3. Go to folder where you want to create the database
  4. Type in a filename
  5. Press [Save] button
    The “Edit table definition” window will open automatically.
  6. Press [Cancel] button.

Method 2

  1. Open Window Explorer (win+E)
  2. Make sure you can see file extensions scuh as .docx, .jpg. .pptx, etc.
    View –> File name exensions
  3. Go to folder where you want to create the database
  4. Right-click in the empty space and select New –> Text Document
  5. Type in a file name, and change extension to .db
  6. Say Yes to warning message
