Visiting Speaker from Island Larder Ltd
Tuesday 21 November 2023Local Entrepreneur Nicola Johnston, co-owner of Island Larder Ltd, came in to talk to our Higher and S5/6 N5 Business Management classes.
Nicola and her Husband Magnus bought over The Shetland Fudge Company in August 2014 to achieve their dream of owning a successful business. They have achieved so much since then including the rebranding of the business to Island Larder Ltd.
Nicola spoke passionately about their business, the successes and challenges they have faced over the years and the plans they have going forward.

Wednesday 15 November 2023Local Entrepreneur Evonne Morrison, founder of Good Nude Food Ltd came in to talk to our Higher and N5 Business Management classes.
Evonne is a passionate and energetic businesswoman in the health food sector with a passion for brand creation, trade, and product innovation.
Good Nude Food was launched in 2018 and is a multi-award-winning unpasteurised sauerkraut company, providing live sauerkraut options across the UK.
Evonne spoke about her business and performed a pitch to the class in preparation of attending the finals for Scottish Edge Competition in Glasgow.
